four miles down
This is the first entry in hopefully many between Sis and I. We are training for a 1/2 marathon to be ran in April. This is a place we can talk about our aches and pains and encourage one another to get out there and hit the pavement! ~ We will also record our other training experiences, what we are doing, how we are feeling, etc. This will be fun, so Run, Sister! Run!

We accomplished a 12 mile week last week. And now we begin WEEK 2. My four mile run on Saturday felt good. I went slower than usual but partly because Sarah was with me and we were running in a new location...so she wanted to sniff around and not focus on her running. But we did it!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to week two. I need to concentrate more on my nutrition this week, making sure I get plenty of protien and healthy carbs.

ReplyDeleteInstead of getting up and doing my run before work I slept in. But now I have to do it after work. 3 miles. ~ How come once I'm up and at work I always wish I got my work out in already, but when I'm snuggled in bed I think that the extra 90 minutes of sleep is most important.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to stretching my legs out on the treadmill and opening up the motor!
You can find me at home tonight around 8pm with frozen peas on my knees!

Damn that stupid clock! I just tried to change it again and it never sets! User error? I think not.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing and I think that you have to be able to sign on as a user, and not a follower. I will give you my sign on info off line and you can work on it. That and the stupid (but well intended) countdown clock!
By now you are finished with your run! Are you still craving that cheeseburger? ~ Do you realize we get a reward in just three more weeks?
